(1-pound, 8-ounce) package frozen California blend vegetables

cup apple cider or apple juice
1 (16-ounce) package frozen 3-Pepper & Onion Blend 2 tablespoons imitation butter-flavored sprinkles

Set timer for 30 minutes to begin.

30 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, in a medium saucepan over high heat bring to a boil 1⁄2 c cocktail sauce, 1⁄2 c plus 2 T water, and 1 c plus 2 T rice.
26 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, chop 1 c of the vegetable blend into small pieces. Set the remaining frozen vegetables aside.
23 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, add the chopped vegetables to the rice and return to a boil.
22 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, stir 1⁄2 t Old Bay seasoning into the rice. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
19 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, in a 2-quart saucepan combine 1 package frozen California blend, the reserved bag of the vegetable blend, and 1 c apple cider. Cover and cook over high.
15 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, preheat the electric grill to preheat.
Start preparing the shrimp kebabs. Thread 5 peeled and deveined shrimp onto each skewer. If needed, run the shrimp under cold water to partially thaw.
12 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, stir and turn off the rice. Keep covered and let the rice stand on the warm burner until time for dinner.
Stir the vegetables. Cover and continue cooking on high.
8 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, spray the upper and lower grilling surfaces of the indoor electric grill generously with butter-flavored cooking spray. Lay the shrimp kabobs on the grill. Sprinkle 1 1⁄2 t Old Bay seasoning on the shrimp. Close lid and cook for 2 minutes. The skewers will stick out of the grill, but make sure the shrimp are inside the grill.
6 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, stir together 1⁄2 c cocktail sauce and 2 T honey until well mixed. Using a pastry brush the cocktail and honey mixture on both sides of the shrimp. Close the lid and continue cooking for 4 minutes longer.
2 MINUTES BEFORE DINNER, turn off the vegetable medley. Drain and place in a serving bowl. Stir in 2 T butter-flavored sprinkles. Put on the dinner table.
Spoon the rice onto the center of a large serving platter.
Place the shrimp kebabs on top of the rice and put on the dinner table. (If desired, use the pastry brush to remove sauce from the grill and spread onto the shrimp.)
